To remove immature grains during processing and deliver premium healthy ingredients favored by consumers, the selection of processing equipment plays a decisive role.

Adopting its unique scale‑shaped deck design, the specific‑gravity separator generates directional airflow via inclined bottom air supply. Combined with rhythmic deck vibration, materials of different specific gravity are effectively separated to produce high‑quality output, achieving performance superior to conventional gravity separators.

Conventional chia seed processing uses permanent magnets to trap metallic contaminants. Once permanent magnets accumulate a certain amount of metal debris, their adsorption capacity fails. Some fine metallic fragments will pass through and remain in finished chia‑seed products.

NATURAL HARVEST applies electromagnetic automatic metal‑removal equipment to solve this problem. Its working principle is shown below:

Thirty layers of special‑shaped magnetic mesh are fitted inside the working chamber. When powered on, the unit generates a strong magnetic field of 20 000 Gauss. As chia seeds pass through the mesh layers, tiny metal impurities with very weak magnetism can also be captured. On a preset cycle, feeding stops and power cuts off for demagnetization. The vibration motor is activated, the slag outlet opens, and trapped metal contaminants are shaken out. Afterwards, feeding and magnetic power resume. This cyclic running achieves thorough metallic‑impurity removal.

Chia seeds processed by conventional methods often contain wild‑weed seeds. Since wild‑weed seeds are highly similar to chia seeds in particle size and specific gravity, they are difficult to remove completely during processing, which is undesirable for end‑users.

To address this challenge, we adopt two vibrating grading screens operating in series. Each machine performs distinct functions. Meanwhile, the shape and mesh density of the four internal screens in each unit are individually adjusted, with every screen layer assigned a dedicated role. This setup enables effective separation of wild‑weed seeds from chia seeds, boosting processing efficiency while guaranteeing consistent product quality.
